Shawn Overall
I’m Shawn Overall and I was born and raised in Nampa. In 1982, my dad started Overall Plumbing with his brother, Rick. I remember one winter when I was about 10 years old. It was Christmas break and I was helping dad repair a frozen pipe in the middle of a yard. I remember telling my dad, “you’re crazy for being a plumber and I am going to get an office job when I get older.” He laughed then said something like I need to go to school.
As I got older, I started to understand why dad loved being a plumber. It’s something different everyday and it’s always a challenge. I’ve grown to love plumbing because I get to solve problems everyday.
My love for plumbing is great but it will never compare to the love I have for my sweet wife, Kara, and two sons. They support me in a very demanding schedule when it comes to work. Yes, we always have someone on call, and early on, it was usually me.
When I’m not working, I love riding motorcycles with my boys. If we’re not riding motorcycles together, we’re probably at our favorite make your own ice cream store. I think they keep an extra bag of gummy worms in the back to refill the tray when we leave.

I was born and raised in New England but like a typical Idahoan, I love all things outdoors. Along with my beautiful wife and 3 kids, our favorite activities include bow and rifle hunting, fishing and camping.
I am the President of the Nampa Valley Little League program and have served as a coach for 16 years. As well as coaching baseball, I love to watch it and my favorite team is the Braves.
I have worked for Overall Plumbing for almost 2 years, but I have been in the service industry for over 20 years. My nature is to build, fix and create so this industry suits me well.

I was born and raised in south eastern Idaho. My wife and I have been married for almost 24 years. We have four children who do their best to keep us busy at all times. We have lived in various parts of the country – New Jersey, Utah, California, Mississippi, Louisiana, but decided in 1999 we wanted our kids to grow up in Idaho. We enjoy all of Idaho’s seasons, snowmobiling and skiing in the winter and gardening, camping and rafting in the summer months.
I attended college at BYU Idaho as well as The University of Utah and have enjoyed various professions from managing Bally’s casino in Mississippi, to being a Lead at Micron, I most recently worked for a professional painting company and bring that experience to Overall Plumbing to make sure that customer homes are left as good as new when plumbing repairs are required inside walls or ceilings.
